My dad used to tell me when i was a kid ..beta(son) learn a new word everyday .... since i never ever learnt a word till 10th ... i mean i never ever bothered to open a dictionary so by 10th he used to be like beta (son) learn atleast 5 new words a day ....
Anyways u must be wondering why i am telling you all this ... Because , i have my GRE on 25th jan(hope i don't reschedule it again this time) .... and i hv just begun to think i wouldn't have to spend so much time cramming the BARRON'S word list ..ohh by the way 4 all you ppl who don't know what shit BARRON's is lemme tell u this .... BARRON's is the number 1 material available to get a good score in GRE ...
Its just now that i have realized why one should have a good vocabulary .... but there have been several funny incidents too which have reminded me again and again the need to develop a good vocab ...I ll narrate some of them to you... hope you ll like it...
This incident happened after 12th in GURGAON... once i had gone to CCD with my family friends ...After finishing the coffee my brother-in-law went to take the car out from the parking area ... Since, i and my friend were happily sipping our coffee, we were handed the cash and asked to pay and come out when we finish off .. As we were about to finish the steward came and asked if we would like the check(cheque) .. Now check my friends is basically "BILL"-- wat we ask 4 after having dinner in restaurants .... I didn't know this then .... so i was thinking sad m stuck here now .... how ll i pay ... i don't even have cheque book with me to pay him by cheque ... my fren bailed me out of the situation when he told me check(cheque) is basically bill ... he had an xperience earlier :P ....finally when he got the bill .. i was relieved and i found out check="BILL".....
Well after dat i worked on my vocab for next 2 hours and trust me fellas i know most of the synonyms for bill.....
Well just before i finish ... lets check ur vocab on a scale of 5.. skip if u don't want to ...

good if you got it ...

if u dint get the above one let me tell u it means fuck you .....
